In order to receive shifts—and therefore get paid—you must set up a Stripe account in the Qwick for Professionals app. (Stripe is a third-party payment processing company trusted by thousands of companies like Lyft, Target Online, and Amazon.) To set up your Stripe account, simply:

  1. Log into the app and click on the menu in the top left corner;

  2. Select “Payments”; and

  3. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your payment information, select Instant Pay or Standard Pay, and connect your Stripe account.

After completing a shift, we’ll send the money to your Stripe account. If you’ve set up Instant Pay, you’ll receive payment via Stripe in as little as 30 minutes after completing a shift. Otherwise, Stripe will process your payment with Standard Pay in 1–2 business days.

Please note: Qwick doesn’t store any of your payment information; all information is stored securely within Stripe.

Here is a step-by-step guide:

  1. Begin the process by either clicking on the second step (Setup Payment Information) under “Tasks to Complete'' on the app's home screen or by tapping "Payments" within the menu in the top left corner.

  2. On the "Setup Stripe Account" page, tap the button that says "Let's Do This" at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Enter the verification code you receive in order to verify your account.

  4. Verify your personal details (first and last name, home address, and Social Security Number).

    1. Stripe needs your Social Security Number in order to verify your identity. It will be stored on their secure server and won't ever be shared with anyone.

  5. Enter your payment information. You have the choice to use a checking account or a debit card. (Note: You need one of these to get paid via Stripe, and therefore accept shifts with Qwick).

  6. Once your information is submitted, Stripe will verify your account, and you'll be redirected back to the Qwick for Professionals app. You can always change your personal information within your Stripe profile.
